WHAT IS MEDIATION?
Mediation is a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to help two parties reach a binding agreement with regards to property division, child custody, visitation, child support, and all other aspects regarding the dissolution of their marriage. This binding agreement is called the Mediated Settlement Agreement (MSA). It is the first opportunity for parties to compromise and negotiate civilly outside of the expensive and uncertain outcome associated with court proceedings and litigation.
